and I was only 18 then. It's something that grew and

for the appetite of a fan, but with all of his
movies (last counted
28 in my private collection), your site and
Christopher's book it becomes easier to just catch a
glimpse of truth that
we already feel - that Mickey is a unique person,
gifted actor and a truly remarkable man. What makes
someone so

is their ability to stay true to themselves. Life
isn't a walk in the park - for all of us. And life
constantly changes.
It takes from us the people we are closest to. Like
Mickey, in 2004. I had to part with a closest person

who lives forever in your soul. Actually, it makes

about SinCity 2. I agree he should be WELL paid but
to degrade the project with the " art " comment and
to start talking money in the press seems like a
move he would have done back in the day, and I love
the man, always have since way back when my friends
used to break my balls about going to Mickey films
while they were going to Arnold films, ( and they
called ME gay! ), but Robert Rodrigez was there and
helped him get back on top, in Sin City was what did
it for him. It sounds ungrateful and bums me out. I
understand Mickey wants to do more substantial
stuff, he always has, but thats no reason to bite
the hand that fed him when alot of others were
offering straight to DVD fare. He's got the look for
these flicks, Sin City and Domino, Get Carter, etc.,
hes got the presence and the persona for them. That
doesn't mean I think he should chain himself to them
but Im not sure he should knock the thing that's put
him back on everyone's radar. But he's more than
entitled to his tastes and opinions. Its all part of
what kept me keeping my eye out for him where ever I
can find him for the last 20-some-odd years I
suppose. None the less, your website is great and
