Comments: In October, I was in New York with friends when I met Mickey very, very briefly at marquee. It was the night the Wrestler premiered. Unfortunately, the movie has not yet opened here but we've been able to see trailers and we knew he had "made it" back in a big way. Congrats to him on his success and his Golden Globe for best actor and we look forward to many more movies. Best of luck at the Academy Awards. We'll be watching...

Comments: I was ecstatic last night when Mickey won the Golden Globe Award. I been a fan of his since the eighties, he is indeed my favorite all time actor. I love his speech when he included his dogs, past and present. Hopefully, he keep making great movies and we will see a lot more of Mickey too come.

Comments: I was so thrilled to see Mickey win last night! I actually screamed out loud on my sofa! It's so great to see him back in action. I just loved his performance in The Wrestler and I appreciate it all the more because it's so apparent that so much went in to it. I'm happy for selfish reasons because I'm looking forward so much to seeing Mickey in lots more films that really showcase his trememdous acting ability. Winning a Golden Globe assures me that I will! besides, I'm always rooting for a fellow Virgo! Especially one on the comeback trail. Love and Cheers!

I'm so thrilled for Mickey Rourke's award and recognition at the GG's. He is such a talent actor. I'm glad he fot the opp to show what is inside him with this film, and also that he had the courage to keep getting up and be truthful as an artist. His chops go beyond method Acting. he has created a truly new level of story telling/acting, that rips the layers off playing a part and exposes a character's raw ego and organic psyche. His performance deserves Best Actor Oscar. I would love to read the letter he wrote Springsteen to get him to write the film's song. Great song, great film, great cast, great directing. Congrates!!!

Comments: Mickey, That which does not kill you only makes you stronger. I don't what the quality is in people that determines whether they crumble or whether they succeed when faced with seemingly insurmountable pain, but whatever it is, you have it in spades. I have a bit of it, but when I saw you take the stage at the Golden Globes, I realized I have a way to go.
Your unashamed show of humanity and grace was a thing of wonder. Especially in front of people prone to jadedness and judgement. You didn't flinch. I loved it when you thanked your dogs both past and present for being your friend and I was amused at their response from the Tinseltown royalty. I swear I could feel the beginning of a standing "O" but just as it began, it ended. No one there (with a few exceptions) had the balls to applaud an animal being someone's best friend. As of they'd never spent an evening telling their troubles to a cocker spaniel or their cat Muffy. We've ALL had times in our life when we've felt completely alone only to be emotionally rescued by Muffy or Fluffy, whatever. I didn't just fall off the turnip truck people, you're just too self absorbed with your manufactured image of physical and emotional perfection to admit you spilled your guts to a Rottweiler one weekend. Remember? He sat there and licked your face while you whined about how nobody loves you so you may as well eat worms all the while scarfing down Taco Bell and chasing it with some gut rot whiskey. Oh yea. And it helped. Alot. cause he loved you. Alot. But hear a man who has the humility to "confess" the depth of gratitude he has for the love his dogs gave him when there wasn't a human friend to be found, you giggle nervously and look around to make sure no one saw you begin to clap.
Fuck em if they can't take a joke. You're the first man whose soul I've had the privilege of glimpsing in a long time and it was a rush. Thanks Mickey. I look forward to watching you from afar should you choose to continue sharing your light, your love and your humor with humanity. I hope so. You fucking rock.

Very nice site dedicated to Mickey. Nice to see that it is indeed not just a place to rant about fantasies of Mickey...as you stated. I had turned so many of my friends onto Mickey Rourke back in the Body Heat & Pope of Greenwich Village days. Then, when Mickey started doing those offbeat roles and then went away for a long time, I had to listen to everyone make jokes and ask me "what's with your boy Mickey Rourke?" I kept telling them all that one day Mickey was going to pull a Dennis Hopper and come back in a role that would knock everyones socks off. Damn if he didn't do it with the Wrestler. That speech Red made in Shawshank redemption about Andy Dufresne always made me think of Mickey when he disappeared from the Movie biz. "Sometimes it makes me sad though...Mickey being gone. I have to remind myself that some birds aren't meant to be caged. Their feathers are just too bright. And when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up does rejoice. But still, the place you live in is that much more drab and empty that they are gone...I guess I just miss my friend." Welcome back Mickey Rourke!

Comments: I am very happy that Mickey has won the Golden Globe! Luckily justice exists still to this world. Congratulations!!!! I have had different occasions to read your site and it is very beautiful; I am sorry only that I can not understand everything that there is written! There have been long years of silence and indifference for his career except in some rare case and I have wondered how it was been possible that Hollywood had put aside an actor of his level, endowed with beauty, charm, charisma, talent and with an extremely kind and sensitive soul. I liked a lot his movie "Homeboy" that here in Italy I don't believe that has not even been distributed, perhaps because it is a movie discreet and delicate, with dialogues that make a lot to reflect. A history that real life tells, cruel and merciless with the more weak but that at times it knows how to give victories by now unexpected. I would like to know if Mickey has ever thought about teaching recitation and if he sometimes returns to the Actors Studio. In a small theater of my city "Teatro Cantina Club" in June of 1996 Mrs. Susan Strasberg had come to meet Mr. Dino Abba, playwright and director. She had to try a part in 1 comedy that he wrote "una ouce nel mistero". She had been very involved by the thematic esoteric of this comedy. She had the size a particular conviction; in the moment in which a person recites, he is exposed to the influx of positive and negative energy, since he opens some channels of commmunicatio to allow the spectator to enter the role that he is interpreting; that's why to be an actor can be very dangerous, because to bear the negative energy you start to take drugs or drink too much alcohol; for this reason Mrs. Strasberg taught a particular self-defense technique. Personally I believe whether to be actors needs to be very sensitive and I believe it was true what she said. even you know if Mickey knew her and what he thinks of her convictions. My English is very bad, I would want to write so many things but then I cannot translate well. I hope to do in the future better. I thank you in advance if you will want to answer me, it is beautiful to know there are people as you that work so hard to sustain a person, his life and career. I want to tell Mickey that it has everything of my affection, respect and admiration!!! Ciao e buona serata (o giomat?)

Comments: Hello, I saw "The Wrestler" 2 nights ago and was moved so deeply by Mickey's performance, I couldnt speak at teh end of the film. My husband was a little worried. My father was a alcoholic and died as 1. He made bad choices and turned everyone away from him especially those he loved. The relationship 'The Ram had with his daughter rings so true, it affected me, even now. He was angry at the world and everyone in it. Watching 'The Wrestler I understood how Dad might have felt, especially when he did make some attempts but everyone else had lost tolerance, so dad gave up. I wish he had never given up. I wish he had never given up.

To Mickey, I always thought you were a great actor, but take this opportunity now and fly with it. The Hollywood buzz will come and go, but don't worry about that shit. You're worth so much more and we've all see a glimpse of that in The Wrestler and your interviews. You're on the right track, keep going, no matter what. Thank You.

Of all places ;-) We've watched The Golden Globes to support Mickey, and we are sending out good ju-ju for him. I (Parker Alyse) been a fan since TPOGV (I read the book in 1979, couldn't put it down), and never stopped being a fan. I'm glad he's sharing his talent with all of us again. Comments: Mickey, you are the real deal, and I'm so glad your back!!!! My husband has been asking for years,
" Whatever happened to Mickey Rourke"?. He loves all your early movies..... and he never raves about any actor, but he raved about you. (I gave him a lot of your movies for Christmas.)
I am especially touched by the love you have for your dogs. We lost out loving, adorable, mini schnauzer, "Danny" 3 weeks ago... sudden death at the vet while we were out of town. I still cry every day!!!!
You WILL win the Oscar. And you certainly deserve it.
I have only 1 request Mickey, ditch the current hair style! You are hiding that wonderful face with all that hair. Slick it back like you did in the early days. That's a sexy look for you!
We love you, Mickey

Comments: I have been a Mickey Rourke fan ever since I caught him in the flick "The Pope Of Greenwich Village". which remains my favorite movie to this day.
Mickey Rourke got the typical young guy growing up in Greenwich Village ... (especially my neighborhood) to a tee. Every time I see that movie .. it takes me back to my youth and hanging out in those streets talking with the guys ....
Having grown up in the 'Exact Neighborhood' that was depicted in the movie which was a combination of Greenwich Village (South Village) and Little Italy  .... with neighborhood mainstays such as Saint Anthony's Church on Sullivan street ... Joe's Dairy Cheese store on Sullivan st. ... The park across from my cousin's restaurant ... (now a pizzeria) on Prince and Mulberry Streets.
I don't think there is an actor out there as realistic and naturalist as Mickey Rourke. The Wrestler just proves it ...... And Mickey on tv in the last few weeks ... simply proves .. he still has it .. the charm .. the grace ... and the slightly mellowed cockiness.
Great site.

Comments: have been your fan from the early years and I wish you al the best-which is why it stressed me to find out you plan on wrestling in Wrestlemania. Dude, you got nothing to prove-don't do this to yourself. You're back on your game in the movie industry and you've come a long way back. I personally have been down roads I will not go back to and I do so say this out of self preservation. I know these guys are well-rehearsed but they go get hurt-for0real and I don't want to see you get hurt anymore. You have so much presence, and I know about the dogs-I, too, have 4 old girls aged 13-15, that are my reason for getting up every day. I'm doing everything I can to keep them going, and we walk several short times a day, cause they're not up to long walks in the woods and out in pastures. If something happens to me I have a child who promised to move in here and let them live out their lives with that comfort. Think about those dogs of yours. Peace be with you.

Comments: I LOVE your site! And thanx to you, I have found out about TV appearances, like Tavis Smiley, that I would have otherwise missed, even though I have "Mickey Rourke" in my keyword on the TV. I love you guys! I would love to know who the actor was who replaced Mickey for a moment in The Wrestler? I am just curious, because other than someone like Sly Stallone, I can't imagine who it could be.

I have loved Mickey for about 30 years (I am 52), and I live in the Village here in NYC, but have never seen him in the neighborhood, though I know he lives around here. I am a cat rescue lady (and I have rescued some dogs too, since I never look the other way when I see any animal in need on the street), and I think Loki is just the cutest little girl! I love it that Mickey promotes pet adoption now. And I love it that he has adopted some dogs that were aggressive at first, probably due to previous abuse or neglect, and he turned them around, into loving pets. I do the same with cats.

I just love everything about Mickey..Except for the fact that he is my age range, yet always dates young girls! What are we attractive older women supposed to do? Ha! I don't blame him for choosing young girls with their young firm bodies though. I just wish he would give some of us older ones a chance too. I might be 52, but even without plastic surgery or Botox, everyone always guesses I am at least 10 years younger. I LOVE Mickey, and will be praying for him all the way, on Oscar night, and forever. I really hope he doesn't do the wrestling thing though. He did that before with boxing, and hurt his face. He's been there, done that. I hope he doesn't make that same mistake again. He should just stick to acting, because he truly is one of the all time greats, and he is so blessed to have the opportunity to have a second chance now.

PS: I recently got an elderly cat who was 4 hrs from death at the NYCACC (Manhattan kill shelter). The staff gave him a name, but he never responded to it. He is so handsome, and so good on camera, after they took his photo at the shelter, they were going to change his name to "Mr. Hollywood" but they didn't. One night, as he was turned away from me, lying on the couch, I said, "Hey, Mickey" - and he turned around and looked at me, purring so loudly! Every single time I call him Mickey, he responds. It's funny, because his personality is very much like Mickey Rourke. He is nice, but you have to approach him a certain way, or he will turn on a dime, and attack you, to let you know you need to respect his wishes. I can identify, because me and little Mickey are cut from the same cloth. And I even used to go out with one of the Hells Angels on 3rd St years ago. I am all about respect.

Go on with your bad self, Mr. Rourke! You have a bunch of people rooting for you here in The Village!!!
Love, "Evie 156"

To love animals such as he does this too I can relate to. As for that interview last night on Larry King, I was sick after that pro wrrestler kept trying to bait him into a fight. How dare that Chris Jericho treat Mickey wth such disrespect on live TV. I hope Mickey doesn't go to Houston to watch him. I hope he gets that Oscar he's so deserving of, what an actor he is...the best!! And I'm old enough to be his mother!

Comments: Hey Mickey - I'm a long time fan and thrilled to be watching your star rise once again. I've seen your Golden Globe moment replayed over and over and each time it brings actual tears to my eyes. Your performance as The Ram was no doubt your best work ever. The physical shape you got into shows your dedication to the role, but it was your profound emotional performance, with its eerie parallel to your own life, that truly touched my heart. At times I wasn't sure if I was watching the character or Mickey Rourke. It was very moving to me for obvious reasons and for personal ones as well. While watching you on your 'comeback media blitz' it's apparent to me that it's not easy for you. But your story is truly a great one and your immense talent will again carry you far. Just remember Mickey, one foot in front of the other.......straight ahead, baby, straight ahead.......I hope one day your personal life will be as filled with joy as your professional life is right now. And by the way Mick...you're still smokin' hot to me!

Comments: I have just finished watching Mickey Rourke on Larry King live via internet in Australia.(thanks for the heads up as the show is not actually aired here) I must say, I have the greatest respect for Mickey and have been a fan of his work for over 20 years, BUT, I am starting to feel really scared for him after seeing him responding to Chris Jericho's comments re a wrestling match? Fuck! Why does he get himself into this shit?? The Wrestler is a great movie and it's highly likely he will win a long overdue Oscar, which I believe he most truly deserves. He is a truly great actor and I cant understand why he has allowed himself to be in that situation on national TV where this Chris Jericho character is basically only reigniting a long held belief that some people have of Mickey, which he himself has been trying to repair for over 10 years. Mickey does not have to prove himself as a real life wrestler! he has already proven himself in this movie to be an actor that is so good he makes us all believe that he is a wrestler. I want to see Mickey Rourke in more great movies, not getting disrespected on TV by some loser who wants to take a bite...just my thoughts

Thought you were a gentleman, but Jericho an arrogant ass. maybe, this was staged, I don't know, you actors always try to fool us....but, if the conversations were for real....you did take the high road and Jericho came away looking like the backside of a Mule......commonly known as a jackass. Comments: The first movie of Mickey's that I ever saw was Wild Orchid (I know, not one of his better movies), but he completely and utterly captivated me. There was just something about that vulnerable, brooding tough-guy that made me want more. I had never heard of Mickey Rourke before watching Wild Orchid (I know! Was I living in a hole?), but after watching the movie, I looked up all movies he had been in and began watching them voraciously. Now I can say that I am definitely a seasoned Mickey fan, not only for all that raw sexuality that he oozes, but because of his fantastic acting skills. Mickey can talk me into his bed anytime!

Comments: Mickey - So, so, so glad to hear you're not participating in the WWE anniversary show in April. That seemed like a disaster waiting to happen. Aside from the fact that Chris Jericho was disrespectful to you on Larry King and the entire segment was so uncomfortable to watch, you are a serious, talented actor who doesn't  need to 'schtick' to get your career back on track. The Wrestler is a huge hit because of your amazing performance and Aronofsky's direction. And because of that your star is now rising faster than you probably ever thought it would. Stick with what you do best and move on to the next project. I expect to see lots of Mickey Rourke on the big screen where he belongs. Welcome back, baby!

Great website you got there! Loved the interview footage. Now...about Mickey. This guy moved me in "The Wrestler". My God, I don't think I've ever seen anybody as real and believable as this man in as long as I can remember (I'm 52, so remembering beyond the 5:30a.m. alarm clock each morning can be a challenge, but I do have a few neurons still firing). I first saw Mickey in Angel heart and at the time, thought that was a great little film. Well, I made the mistake of not checking out his full body of work back then, but I'm gonna make a point of looking for his earlier works so I can fully appreciate his talent. James Dean had already passed away by the time I knew the difference a tit and a ten-speed, but here's a guy who's still here, and mark my words, has his best yet to come. I just hope he continues to get some good scripts. It's so damn good to see a film where I can relate on this many levels. Let me break it down a bit...you got time? First of all, I've spent my time ina  few strip clubs, and I've been right where he was with "Crystal". The whole customer/friend trip. Next, the conflict he had with the name Robin. The unspoken tie that "Robin" had with his past..."My name's Randy!" Man, that's powerful for those of us that it struck a chord with. O.k. I guess I've rambled enough. Thanks for a great website and I look forward to seeing any new additions to it. And, if you see Mickey, give him a nod of approval for me and by the way, tell him I also have a rescued dog named Jackie that I've had since she was about 4 months (9years old now) and I applaud his efforts with his dogs. Comments: Thanks for the very informative, excellent site. Mickey Rourke is by far my favorite actor, he has been electrifying the screen since his stunning appearance in 'Body Heat', when he only had a few minutes onscreen, yet completely stole the show. He has genuine charisma. I love all his films, especially when he played ;Boogie' in 'Diner'. He had the combination of vulnerability and strength, just like in almost all his films. And words can't ecplain how incredible he was in 'Rumble Fish', and '9 1/2' Weeks! I even loved him in 'Domino'!!! His performance in 'The Wrestler' is one of the best ever. He totally deserves the Oscar, and I am hoping to see him walk up to the podium, and get a standing ovation just like he should have years ago!!!!!!! Thanks, Mickey, for the years and years of great entertainment, and most of all, thanks for having heart!!!!!! From one dog lover to another.

Comments: I want to thank you for taking so much of your time and creating and updating your website for long-time Mickey fans; I being one of them. Thank you for sharing al of your 'finds' with us. It's wonderful that Mickey's talent is finally being acknowledged by 'the Hollywood powers that be'. His performance in 'The Wrestler' was haunting; I actually felt emotionally drained when I left the theater because I felt so badly for 'The Ram'. Only Mickey could have played 'Randy' and made you feel his pain. I look forward to the future; hopefully now, he will get the roles that he deserves. I wish for him happiness and peace in the days ahead.

Comments: I notice now that Mickey is losing some of the weight he had to put on for his role, I can see in some of his more recent photos the outlines of his beautiful 1980's face (that mouth and chin!). . After all, we all age, but I can still see the good structure. I am not crazy about the moustache and goatee, but hey, he is who he is and is truly a fantastic actor. I am looking forward to seeing him win the Oscar!!!!

Comments: hello, My name is John De Toro and I live in Toronto, Canada. last night I saw "The Wrestler" and I was in complete shock with that movie. The story was fantastic, the cast was great but Mr. Rourke's performance was speechless. I like his acting and his choice of roles in the past but this was indeed his top shelf performance. I too am an actor and have been in the game for 12 years. being here in Toronto, acting is never really a career...unless your one of the lucky ones. I own and operate a successful construction/renovations company were acting is my hobby. Don't get me wrong, I wish it was the other way around and still like to dream of that being my life someday. Mr. Rourke is not shy in the public eye and others may not have been wise and kind with the things they say in print. However, when it comes to his acting you can see what his true passion is, it shows in his work. I recently saw him on a late night talk show, he explained the ups and downs of this project but I was not ready to hear what he said next, he did this movie without receiving a paycheque. That is true passion.
I normally don't take time out and write to whomever about a film that they did, in fact this email most likely will never reach Mr. Rourke but I feel compelled to say thanks to him. This film really touched me, I left feeling sad, feeling sorry and I felt the need to cry for "Ram". Its sad to see a man fail, to lose that connection with his family, to be alone, to not be taken seriously outside of that comfort circle of those that share what you have in common, to feel disconnected and that time has passed you by. It's sad to see a person trying to turn things around but can never make it past the first step. To walk away from this film and take these feelings with me proves that Mr. Rourke did his job. He brought that character from the scene and got in my head and heart. I know that it's only a script, only a character and that Mr. Rourke is not him.... I know this but his performance was so perfect, so right for him that he deserves recognition for his work. I saw the S.A.G. Awards and to see Mr. Penn take that award from Mr. Rourke was wrong. Penn got paid, Penn didn't have to alter his image the way Mr. Rourke did, but that's O.K. because tehre are ebtter awards out there for him to claim. When you sit back and think, isn't an email sent but a total stranger to tell Mr. Rourke "thank you" better that some metal statue or glass whatever? Think about it.
Well done Mr. Rourke, you are a great actor and its nice to see you in the spotlight, you deserve it.

Comments: I've been to some other M.R. sites and I was anything but impressed. More like annoyed. An actor with so much mystery and history deserves a site, well, just like this one. I'll admit (in true tiger beat form) I've been in lust with Mickey for years. Met him on my 21st birthday and he was so sweet. I'm 32 now and so thrilled to see him doing what he does best again. Ps.. my pet Chihuahua, Mini, loves him and his motley crue dog-pack too!

Comments: Hello... just had to drop a note to ya'll. I read the interview where Mickey talks about his dog's saving his life, and I had to write to say that my little fella, Skillet (a min pin) was the only reason I got out of bed for a couple of years. I had gone through divorce, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and being unemployed all in the same year. Needless to say it was a rough one. I basically crawled into the bottle for 2 years and watched my entire life tumble down around me. Skillet was the only "person" who actually gave a shit for a long time. Well, I have made a comeback, bought a new house, settled in with a new girl and she gave me the most beautiful daughter in the world. I have often told how my dog saved my life, but people always look at me like I'm crazy... it's nice to see someone else feel the same way. Power on & Muddle through Mickey...that's my motto... and as an old man I once knew told me... "it's hard to be an old wise man without being a young fuck-up." Peace... I'm outta here..!!

Comments: Ladies, Finally had to write and thank you for the great site. Stumbled upon it while roaming around and now I'm a pig in shit...can't wait each day to see what's going on in Mickey's world! Have always been a big fan and now more than ever. Love the link to the walls. I could spend hours looking at photos of Mickey. I do have to say though that if I witness one more lame ass interview with Mickey being asked the same boring questions about his "comeback", I think I'm going to wretch! Mickey sounds like a broken record at this point. It seems as if he has been coached so far into submission that you forget who the "real" Mickey is. He's like a wild horse that's been broken. His true spirit has been lost. BTW, check out Maxim December 2008 article on Mickey. great story with lots of details and inside stuff that I haven't seen anywhere else (and I've read them all) One last thing. Please Mickey, get rid of the hairstyle and facial hair. You've still got a beautiful face that the women out here want to see.

Comments: Yowee!! Now he's won a BAFTA! I'm telling you, this guy is getting better and better looking each new photo I see of him. I was absolutely impressed with his acceptance speech, you could tell it was real - and certainly not boring. It seemed as if the audience was certainly in his corner and appreciated his lack of posturing. Plus, he gave them some good laughs. I thorougly enjoyed the interview he gave after the awards also. Somehow, maybe because he's happier now, but his old smile and confidence and even his looks are beter than a few months ago. maybe not the same as 20 years ago, but slimming down and the planes in his face are really starting to show. he is still HOT!! I'm just so proud of him!!!!!! and THANKS GIRLS FOR DOING SUCH A FABULOUS JOB for us Mickey Rourke fans. You're the best!!

Comments: Hello! I just finished watching Mr. Rourke's interview with Charlie Rose; needless to say Mickey Rourke has always fascinated me. His comments about not sleeping in a bed, preferring to sleep on the couch with 6 dogs, certainly hits home with me. If he ever asks, tell him he's not the only person who has trouble sleeping in a bed. My story: I fell in love and married when I was about 25; he was the love of my life no doubt. After 16 years of marriage (95% happy--far more happy than most!) my husband left me abruptly (to simplify, mid-life crisis for both of us). I allowed the situation wreck my mind, body and soul for a few years. We had chosen not to have children so here I was: one day I think I'm happily married for life, the next day, poof. Ultimately, I lost my husband, home, my job, people I thought were family who loved me, etc. All gone within about a two-month span of time. That's a lot to lose in such a short period of time.
I couldn't walk down the hall with even the IDEA of sleeping in a bed. I tried but eventually realized sleeping at night in a bed just wasn't happening; for about 5 years and after adopting 2 cats, I slept mainly after daylight on the couch with the kitties. Things are better now, thank God. But I had lots of help: friends and family who DID give a damn, doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, an intuitive healer/massage therapist, and my beloved cats; I found employers who were willing to take a chance on a middle-aged woman who had definitely seen better days.
But during times of stress (or certain times of the year) I resort to sleeping with the television on, a light on or, sometimes still sleeping on the couch for a few nights. Or not sleeping much at all. LOL
It takes guts for a tough guy like Mickey Rourke to admit such vulnerability; unless he chooses, I'm sure he won't be living with only his pets for company. A man who can admit such a tender side as he did on tonight's interview is in high demand (at least I think so) and very appealing.
Mr. Rourke's interview was intriguing to say the least; I wish him well. And let the man know going to bed alone can be one of the most difficult things in the world. Finally, I've only written one other e-mail to a celebrity (or celebrity site) in my 50 years. That should indicate the degree of feeling evoked by Mr. Rourke. Again, all the best to him personally and professionally.

Comments: Hi Ladies: Such a nice place to come and visit, and learn all the latest about Mickey. DAMN! Wish I would have stopped by yesterday afternoon so I would have known Mickey was going to be on Charlie Rose! Sorry I missed it! Thanks for all the hard work you do keeping us informed! BTW, I'd walk right up to Mickey and start chatting with him if I had the chance. I'd grab him where he's most vulnerable (gotcha) and start talking to him about dogs!

Comments: OMG! I feel like I'm e-mailing you girls every day. Anyway, I managed to find Mickey's Charlie Rose interview on the net. I was blasted away by the interview he gave. What a class act that was! Everyone should see him as he is on Charlie Rose's show. It shows a side of Mickey that I don't think many people have had the good fortune to see. Rose really brought out the best and you could tell he respected Mickey. I couldn't tear myself away from the video. Fabulous!!! I'm going to post the link (if it works - I'm a techno idiot) and don't know if you can use it or not as I don't know the rules for this kind of thing. Anyway, this is so exciting and, as a fan, I am so proud of Mickey. he gets better as the days go by - in every way!
